I can honestly say, despite the low rating I gave, that I think this book would be a very valuable asset to any child seriously considering owning a horse or pony. It is very in-depth and informative and factual, with lots of pictures and diagrams explaining things like mounting, grooming, stabling, the different points of a horse, etc. I think the only reason I didn't care for this book is because I know most of the stuff covered here, and the detail that would prove very useful to a beginner only bored me.… (mais)
