Atlas of Earth Mysteries is a vivid reminder of natural powers in all their amazing diversity, It is a reminder, too, that fundamental questions which have fascinated and exercised curious minds for centuries remain elusively unanswered. Why, exactly, do devastating earthquakes strike? How can the sky rain frogs of fishes? What causes tidal waves and typhoons?
