This is the second Inquire & Investigate history books I have read. I must say, I love the series. The covers are eye-catching. The photographs are captivating and colorful. The comic strips are fun and helpful. The historical scope covered major events.

However, I gave this book four stars because the section on propaganda was onesided. The section explained how the Soviet Union used propaganda against the United States, but did not talk about the United States used propaganda against the Soviet Union. The book briefly explained the "Red Scare" but the tone of the book was definitely in favor of the United States.… (mais)

Children between the ages of 12-15 as well as others who are interested in our Solar System will pick up this title about Planetary Science. Readers will explore the Solar System and beyond. This would be a great source for school projects or just learning about our night sky and everything out there. The Mars rover, Curiosity is also discussed as well as a catalog of distant planets. There are also hands-on STEM projects to build. I would recommend this for any collection. It does a great job of discussing our Solar System and has a few fun facts that the average reader may not know.… (mais)
