This is a letter to his brother written by a surgeon on the Sirius, which came to australian in 1788 as part of the first fleet. It also includes a copy of his diary of the first 6 months of settlement. It relates details of exploration, details in establishing early settlement and interactions with aborigines. Very interesting.
