Cheng-Tsu Wu

This book was rather interesting. Not only does it go over the history of racism against the Chinese in America, it also gives the actual Acts and other laws, etc. as they were written. Its an unbelievable read. I can't count how many times my jaw dropped open at the actual wording put on paper for all the see forevermore. There are also letters written by politicians and some cartoons from way back. Eye opening to say the least. This book also goes over 3 or 4 of the worst attacks on Chinese communities in various states. I will keep this one as it has the actual Acts, etc. I plan on sharing it with a few family members that don't believe the Chinese are discriminated against. Highly recommend as a read, but you might want to check it out of the library before deciding if you want to buy it as it was written in the 70's and does not have any up-to-date or current affairs in it.… (mais)
