Frontier woman; the life of a woman homesteader on… por Walker Demarquis Wyman
Very interesting book about a woman's life on the frontier. She had nine children (!) and ran the farm single-handedly. Her husband wasn't the type to farm, and the homestead life was unbelievably rough. The rattlesnake chapter alone was enough for me to know I wouldn't have lasted! Good description and honest depiction of homestead life.
