The Magic of Juju: An Appreciation of the Black… por Kalamu Ya Salaam
Best book I've read in years. Written by an absolutely brilliant man from New Orleans. Not easy to read, this book is only for bright people (no offense to anyone!). I learned so much about the history of the Black Arts Movement. I would highly recommend it!

Paul Chan: Waiting for Godot in New Orleans por Paul Chan
A beautiful book detailing the effort to bring theater to post-Katrina neighborhoods in New Orleans. Through essays, photos, interviews, and scraps, the effort is brought forth so well.
