If you like Le Carre but you think his stories take time to develop (to be honest his newer novels are not of this sort) then this novel will be something you will like.

This is the second international thriller by this author, who writes very well and creates exquisite female characters and remarkable plots. Well done.

Scandinavian fiction has recently become very popular here in the USA. Personally, I have been intrigued and fascinated by the likes of such authors as Jo Nesbø, Stieg Larsson, and especially Karl Ove Knausgaard. Consequently, I opened this book with pretty high expectations and sadly was a bit disappointed. Just didn't grab me the way I was expecting. This is Joacim Zanders first novel and I will say, he definitely has potential.
