Road to Reality
At the time I am starting this group, I am on my 3rd attempt to go through Roger Penrose's The Road to Reality. The first time I tried just to read. The second time I tried to work through every problem. Then I reviewed my algebra, geometry and calculus. This time I have decided more resources are needed to work through the book than are provided in the book itself. The internet offers numerous helps. There is a website with user provided solutions. This group is for people who are interested in working through this book. I hope also that some pros - mathematicians, physicists, and others will stop by to lend a helping hand.
It is probably helpful for members to post separate topics on specific concepts, with links to helpful resources they find on the internet.
January 2010 - I am still interested in this group. It just became evident that I needed to improve my math skills. I have been working on that, and hope to get back to Mr Penrose in a few months. Please feel free though to start a topic thread.
