Reading Globally

The intent of this list is to record reading outside our geographical comfort zones. This list does not include books set in the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Ireland or France. It is also limited to fiction. Ideally, the book is set primarily in the country and the author is either from the country or lived there for a long time (although exceptions may be made for the more difficult countries). Feel free to track your global reading here too, but only add one or two selections for each country per person, to prevent any one country from dominating the list.
