We all go a little mad sometimes

Descrição
These are books that read like a slasher flick. They usually follow 'the rules'- from the killer being unknown and seemingly invincible, to the final girl survivor. But not all are so cut and dried. So enjoy, gentle reader, what you can of them. Although if you find these books enjoyable, God help us. Unlike most of my other lists I'm not trying to bring lesser known works to light but to tag an idea wherever it might fester, so some of these books may be familiar to you.

SomeGuyInVirginia: This is something of a cheat, the novelization of a slasher flick.

SomeGuyInVirginia: Brother and sister psycho killers dispatch in novel ways. This one is something of a stretch, but Baxt is so much fun that I wanted one book by him on the list. Although I haven't read it, his 'Process of Elimination' may more squarely hit the mark...or certainly the Sue! Bwahahahaha!

SomeGuyInVirginia: More of a crime thriller, it reads like a slasher flick and follows another of the 'rules'- part of the narrative is in the killer's PO.

SomeGuyInVirginia: Slasher flick novelization. Black Christmas, directed by Bob Clark, is a wildly successful slasher. I haven't read the book.

SomeGuyInVirginia: I detest Richard Laymon, who strikes me as a grotty little perv and not in the good way. Still, this is a slasher. I haven't read it, and barring the destruction of all books and phone books in the known universe, I never will.

SomeGuyInVirginia: Written to coincide with a movie release by the same name, the book stays true to the slasher concept while the movie turns into a sci-fi bug hunt thingy.
