I love reading books about women's experience, particularly about friendship, pregnancy and relationships. I enjoy books about our health care system and those that work within and outside of it's confines. I also love books about traveling, especially to unknown, out of the way locations.

As far back as I can remember reading was one of my favorite past times. As a child, I used to go to the library and fill my backpack with books, 10-20 at a time, and read them all one by one. Any new event in my life is preceded with reading many books about that topic, whether it is about my work, pregnancy, parenting, traveling, or running a marathon.

I am a married mother of 2 biological children and one stepson, who has a beautiful baby girl (which makes me a grandma!). I work with women and families as a midwife. I love my work, to travel and I love to read.
