An award-winning journalist, his articles have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Washington Times, Jerusalem Post, and publications worldwide. Some of his best-selling books include Jimmy Carter, The Liberal Left and World Chaos: An Obama/Carter Plan That Will Not Work, Showdown with Nuclear Iran, Beyond Iraq: The Next Move, and Living Fear Free. He has appeared on hundreds of network television and radio shows, including Good Morning America, Crossfire, and Nightline.
Also an award-winning producer, Dr. Evans has produced 18 documentaries in Israel. His most famous, Let My People Go, spotlighted Natan Sharansky, who was at the time in a gulag in Russia. Dr. Evans asked President Ronald Reagan to seek Mr. Sharansky's release, and the release of some 400 Jewish prisoners from President Mikhail Gorbachev. In February 2003, Dr. Evans received the Ambassador Award from the State of Israel. He was a keynote speaker at the inaugural Jerusalem World Summit in Jerusalem in October 2003, and joined such notables as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
Dr. Evans is husband to Carolyn Evans, chairwoman and founder of Christian Woman of the Year Association, which gives honors to distinguished women such as Mother Teresa, Ruth Graham and Elizabeth Dole during the past 15 years.
Mike and Carolyn have four children, Michelle, Shira, Rachel and Michael, and five grandchildren.
