Sobre a minha bibliotecaShould it ever reach completion, this catalogue will represent the combined acquisitive efforts of two people, one of whom 'reads' - in the conventional sense - far more than the other. Put another way, it is like most libraries in having a substantial reference section. There are certain themes - the European travel aspect is a little hard to miss - which include European architecture, natural history and translated literature. The extent of material on religious architecture says less about devout natures and more about Welsh upbringings: a great many of the older buildings in Wales, although generally rather modest, are churches.
A fair amount of the collection reflects a particular interest in the Balkans and especially Bosnia & Herzegovina. Were there more works published and easily obtainable, the section on 'stećci' - the unique gravestones of BiH (and nearby) - would be larger. And should you feel that Wales is under-represented in all of this, I haven't got round to most of that stuff yet!
