Acerca da Minha Biblioteca
My own works: SHADOWBRIDGE, ATTACK OF THE JAZZ GIANTS & OTHER STORIES, FITCHER'S BRIDES, THE PURE COLD LIGHT and more. Stories in the anthologies THE SECRET HISTORY OF VAMPIRES, THE FAERY REEL, THE DARK OF THE WOODS, MOJO: CONJURE STORIES and more.
What I read cuts across genre and type boundaries. Donald Westlake, Don Delillo, Karen Joy Fowler, M. John Harrison, China Mieville, Delia Sherman, Kelly Link, Holly Black, Robert Crais, etc. If it's well written, I want to read it.
Acerca de Mim
Gregory Frost's latest book is ATTACK OF THE JAZZ GIANTS & OTHER STORIES, published by Golden Gryphon Press. Locus Magazine calls it "a notable collection, likely to stand as one of the best of 2005"; Rick Kleffel, in his July 12 AGONY COLUMN notes, "Readers looking for the kind of variety that you find in the works of Ray Bradbury will find themselves in familiar hands here"; Terry Weyna adds: "Reading Gregory Frost's 'Attack of the Jazz Giants' is like wandering through the best exhibit of surreal art you've ever seen;" and Publisher's Weekly in a starred review (!) goes even further in saying, "Frost demonstrates his mastery of the short story form in what will surely rank as one of the best fantasy collections of the year." His most recent novel, FITCHER'S BRIDES (Tor Books), was an International Horror Guild Award and World Fantasy Award Finalist. He has also been a finalist for the James Tiptree Award, Nebula Award, Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award, and Hugo Award. His currently available stories include "Tengu Mountain" (The Faery Reel) edited by Terri Windling & Ellen Datlow, "Dub" in Weird Trails, edited by Darrell Schweitzer, and "So Coldly Sweet, So Deadly Fair" in Weird Tales magazine, and "Ill-Met in Ilium" in The Secret History of Vampires (April 2007).
His fantasy duology, SHADOWBRIDGE, will be published by DelRey books beginning in January 2008.
