On his seventh Koos Verkaik began to write stories. First short stories, but soon it became hand-written manuscripts of many hundreds of pages. A series about a young space traveller who went in search of adventures on a far-away planet, got published in the weekly Sjors (three pages per week) when Koos was 16; when he as 18, he wrote his first novel, that was published under the title ADOLAR (the name of the main character).
In the mean time over 40 different titles are published, both for children and adults, countless scripts, several recordings etc., etc.
The books ALLFATHER and WOLFTEARS gave him the name of The Dutch Stephen King.
At this moment Koos is working on new books about the WOLPERTINGER and many new fantasy novels, DEMIGODS, TYCOONS, DEATH ROLE, BOOK OF DREAMS, THE NIBELUNG GOLD and more.
