V. Alexander is the author of a series of noir-style novels that feature women who are at odds with their respective environments. Having spent several years making money in the dark and sometimes perilous world of international trade, V has worked with a myriad of dynamic women who have honed certain skills in order to avoid the dangers that await them around every corner. Some of these women are highly educated and have to work like mad to undo all the damage. Others are unstable and lack any formal education. Some call these women crazy. The author calls them multi-millionaires.

V has several advanced degrees that will never be used and has enjoyed an unconventional lifestyle, making deals with Fortune 1000’s and other entities. Inspired by both the women in the author’s life and a love for 1940’s style and humor, V’s writing career began with one simple question... What if the classic heroes of fiction noir were all replaced by women?
