My library at home consists of well over 3,000 books located throughout the house. Purchasing near 500 books in 2013 was the tipping point. Giving away many books to the local public library in 2022 was a great cleansing of books purchased on a whim, but I won't read.

Mother of two daughters, grandmother to four.
After 36 years of academia and teaching/advising publications, I am retired! I highly recommend it.

Acerca de Mim

My earliest memories were of reading. The small town where I lived had a wonderful library. If I was missing, my parents knew they could find me in the library, keeping company with librarian Miss Alice Blake.

I enjoy illustrated books, as they are not only a children's genre, but contain incredible art of very talented illustrators.

Books remain my solace and comfort. And now that I am retired, I have more time to be surrounded by books in a quiet room.

Discovering Library Thing in 2008, continues to be a blessing! A member of the 75 challenge group, my reading genre expanded, and I've met many wonderful people.
