My library is vast and erratic and filled with history books, to religious texts, to historical fictions, to biographies, to children's fairy tales. I suppose the best way to put it would be, I love a bit of everything.
Yet, I mostly love fiction and fantasy- especially fantasy. There is nothing better to me than losing myself in a beautiful world I've never seen, a world filled with magic, mystery, and monsters. A world that really has no boundaries. That is the appeal of books to me. To see the characters, to feel what they feel, to see what they see, to become them for a moment, to become attached to them.
Books to me are an ultimate vacation from life.

Well, to say I am an avid reader would be a bit of an understatement, but since the only other phrase I could use would be, "obsessive", I think I'll stick with it.

Anyway, my interest in literature varies mostly upon the characters. I love strong, well developed characters as much as I like coffee, if not more, and /that/ is saying something. However, I can't deny that fantasy novels hold a special place in my heart, so I suppose you would say that they are my favorite genre.

I suppose I should say more about myself; Well, I am home schooled senior, I take classes a the local community college in writing and english literature. (To help further my understanding) And I plan on becoming an author someday or an archeologist or own my own business. Anyway, I plan on pursuing many things and hopefully those many things will happen in many places, for I would love to travel the world.
