I have a bunch of old civil war, natural history, and addiction books that I inherited from my father a few years ago. My library is a lot of modernist literature of the South - Faulkner, Welty, Porter, and other books I kept from college.

My favorite books are my cookbooks with narratives (dunno what that genre is called - like a travel narrative except for cooking not traveling. e.g Gentleman's Companion), and in particular my books on wild foodsources (Stalking the Wild Asparagus).
