I have a pretty eclectic taste in books, but generally lean toward humorist essays, chick lit, and other fiction. I usually shy away from most sci fi and fantasy (although you'll notice a small bit in my library), but that's about it. I'll go on long jags of non-fiction, as well. I own quite a bit of music books, but have only listed a few highlights. After a recent cross-country move, I've also downsized a LOT, but will keep recent/favorite reads listed, in addition to permanent installments.

I'm a Business Analyst (web content) for a large corporation by day, jazz musician by night. I have a bit of a daily commute and get through much of it by reading. After an accident several years ago, it took a few years before I could read books of any length and be able to concentrate long enough to get through them. I'm happy to be rediscovering reading a lot again. They'd been such a huge part of my growing up. I also have a huge passion for film and theatre, among many other things.
