Sobre mimIf I had no sense of humor, I would long ago have committed suicide.
~Mohandas Gandhi

Enjoy life. There's plenty of time to be dead.
~Hans Christian Andersen

I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves.
~Anna Quindlen

I have measured out my life with coffee spoons.
~T.S. Eliot

Too much sanity may be madness. And maddest of all, to see life as it is and not as it should be!
~Miguel de Cervantes

All animals except man know that the ultimate point of life is to enjoy it.
~Samuel Butler

How often does a man ruin his disciples by remaining always with them. When men are once trained, it is essential that their leader leave them, for without his absence they cannot develop themselves.
Plants always remain small under a big tree.

~Swami Vivekananda (1863 - 1902) Indian philosopher

I love reading, art, writing, yoga, juggling and facepainting.
Presently, I home educate my three children. I write a comic strip chronicling our homeschooling adventures.

Sobre a minha bibliotecaI admit it. I'm a book junkie. I can't pass a table of used books without seeing if there is anything good and I can't go to a bookstore without buying at least one thing. I have my local library system website on favorites. I was horrified by the Twilight Zone episode "Time Enough at Last" where Burgess Meredith collects every book he wants to read only to end up breaking his glasses.

I tend to list books that I love, that inspire me, or that we use regularly, so if my starring system seems skewed, that's the reason.
