Acerca da Minha Biblioteca
I love English mysteries, and am always on the lookout for authors I haven't read yet. If I discover one, I make sure I read all their books in order. I read other fiction, preferably set in England. In the past I've read a lot of the classics, poetry and some drama. I have been a member of the Folio Society since the early 1970's, and before that my mother was a member since the 1960's. My husband and I collect vintage Penguins, up to #2000, and older Folio books we're interested in. I recently inherited a quantity of books on Burma from my uncle, and plan to read them all this year, 2014. I am still trying to list all the books we have, which I do in fits and starts.
Acerca de Mim
I am a retired woman in her sixties who was born with a book in one hand and a cup of tea in the other. Although we came to Canada when I was five years old I still feel a strong connection with Britain, and try to get there regularly. I am the proud owner of a British Library card (now there's a library!) and hope to continue researching the family history in Colonial Burma on every visit.
