Own. (11), Own (8), quick read. (1), but I enjoyed the writing style. Will I bother to pick it up again later. Probably not. (1), until the last 2 stories. It never really came together and the character of Ann kind of fell apart in adulthood. Though in some ways (1), Boy a tough read. I never really got it. But it was so interesting and well-written and Ann (the protagonist) so "real" I kept with it. And enjoyed it (1), Sequel to Cordelia Underwood by Van Reid. Not as good as the first (1), The kind of book I can safely recommend to anyone. Fun read. No language/sex/violence. (1), I like the characterization; but these unique characters do not come together in a compelling story or well-constructed plot. The end was very poor. (1), Favorites: Sis Boom Bah! and Foreign Correspondent (1), Fun read. Great for those on the precipice of being fired. (1), Started...but didn't finish. It was an interesting read. I should probably get to it again some day. (1), Funny. Apropos to my current state of mind. Read it in lightning speed of 5 days. (1), Haven't finished yet. Need to do so. Fun and educational. (1), Funny. Quick read. Dies off a little at the end. (1), Very good book. Plants specific to area. Garden. Design. (1), that too rings true. Don't we all. (1), Scattered (VERY) at end. Not great (1), I found the suggestions for what to do silly and pointless. But the stories and descriptions of burnout were very good and I felt comforted in knowing I am not alone. (1), garden. design. Not too many practical ideas for me though. (1), the end...left me walloped...and a bit disappointed. Although I re-read parts before having to return the book and it fit a little better the second time. Still (1), it was an awesome book. Part of the reason I re-read parts was because every few pages there was an idea (1), I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Amusing. And a good "unbiased" look at how people can run the gamut in how they read and apply the bible to their daily lives. (1), I think I wanted to enjoy it more than I did. The premise was interesting (1), Anne Marie recommended. I enjoyed it and it was enlightening (1), even if I don't agree with him politically. (1), I waited too long! I have to return this book and I have just started it. Laugh out loud funny!! I'll get it again (1), This actually continues the story of Cornelia and Teo from Love Walked In--which surprised and pleased me. But I didn't enjoy the book nearly as much. And I think both lacked something in their resolutions. (1), but I'm disappointed I didn't start in sooner....Got it again. What was so funny? I started where I left off and the rest wasn't too good. He reiterated the same ideas over and over again. No new insights. No more funnies. Mostly drab locations. Too few l (1), really!! (1), Half-way through. I stuck it out for the first chapter or so (when I couldn't really get into it) and now the workout (the neurons in my brain have been re-connected in new ways) has paid off. I have made it past the language issue (every few words unknow (1), Enjoyable read. Reminds me of Cynthia Kaplan a bit. (1), Not what I was expecting. Not so much incidents at a restaurant as the tale of a 30 educated male with little direction and high service burnout...something I could really relate to. (1), Garden. Design. Beautiful book. Lots of inspiration. (1), even if in the end she needs to go to a mental institution to work out some of the bad spots. Luckily (1), Beautiful book. Not too many ideas to be had though. (1), Not the best in the Ransomed Heart lineup (1), Not her best (1), And it was so (1), Towards the end of the book (1), we love the mom and her ways (1), not all! (1), Willow fence. Garden. Design. (1), Inspiring. Design. (1), A fun read! (1), but okay. (1), but I enjoyed it. (1), Okay (1), Fun (1), A quick read. Kept me going (1), an expression (1), Read and re-read and be inspired and uplifted; Own (1), All-time favorite book; Own. (1), Started with this book in the series *(I started after most had been written); Miles Vorkosigan has to be one of the best characters in a series (1), but I enjoyed this book which begins before his story does. Own. (1), Like one idea especially for an addition. (1), Recommended by library site as similar to my favorite all-time book--A Prayer for Owen Meany. I stuck with it. It wasn't good. It was crude. A waste of time. (1), Started but returned without even getting through first chapter. (1), A little lacking in depth; expected much more (1), I barely broke into this (maybe 40 pages?) before I had to return it (1), a passage that I wanted to capture in my journal. (1), though I lost a little interest towards the end and became a bit annoyed with the interactions of Roth and Hobbie. (1), the characters a little too unbelievable. (1), This has to be the book I would most recommend. Own. (1), there is a part where portions of another character's novel is shared. LOL! (1), Own. Haven't read my own dad's book yet though! (1), Best character: Gus (a seven year old?) Short and sweet. About a little girl (Annie) who is old enough to know something is "wrong" with her mom. But at the same time (1), Best book I've read in a long while. Close to top 5 fiction on my list. (1)

Acerca da Minha Biblioteca
For starters, I have just listed the books I love and have purchased. (I only buy books I love and intend to read again and again.) From now (April 17, 2007) on, I will list all books I check out from the library and keep track of whether I've liked them or not here. Those will likely have more tags/comments than the rest. A truly great book leaves me speechless!
