Acerca da Minha Biblioteca
My all time favorite book is "The Hiding Place" by Corrie TenBoom and my second is "Evidence Not Seen" by Darlene Diebler Rose. Strange that they are both about women who were imprisoned by the enemy in WWII. What I like is reading of the strength they drew from their relationship with God in the face of difficulties, persecution and the deaths of those closest to them.

I don't own all the books I read. I make heavy use of libraries. I've pretty much read all I care to from the local school library here, but last year when we were in the states for the year I made weekly visits to the Public Library. I thought that was one of the best things about living there!

My LT library is pretty much a wish list and a list of books I want to be sure and look up when I move to the U.S. As I have gotten a hold of and read books, I try to review them in such a way that will be of help to other potential readers. So check out my reviews if a book looks interesting!
Acerca de Mim
Although I was born in the states, I have lived in Latin America since 1984 (except the 2005-2006 school year). My husband and I will celebrate 25 wonderful years of marriage this August and we have 4 children--one married and three teenagers at home.

Recently my husband's new vocation takes him around the world and I get to travel with him once or twice a year. So now I'm interested in reading about the places we are going to go or have been to.

I've been described as a voracious reader, but compared to some of you, I guess not. I would guess I read about 25-30 books a year. My favorites are non-fiction, especially biographies. I think what really happens to people is far more exciting than fiction, but I "goof off" with a novel a few times a year as well.
