Just because the inverse is always interesting. My catalog isn't very obscure, but I've seen users with a mean up in the 1300s!

How high have you seen/are you?

Note - Tim has finally solved a bug in the way copies were counted, you may find your statistics have jumped upwards!

I've gained about 100!

I've gained close to 100 too in the last month or two. At 326 and climbing at present.

I'm up to 20/304 ... and I'm afraid that's going to skyrocket, as I'm currently reading some "popular" books (heck, one of 'em was featured by Oprah) which are not doubt going to do bad things to my obscurity once I get them logged into my library!

I am at 8/193, due to having a lot of old almanacs and travel books in my collection. My numbers did jump, which I thought may be due to efforts of combiners, as well as putting books by the Inklings. One way to get the mean lower is by using a harmonic or geometric mean rather than a straight forward arithmetic mean, but I suppose it would be a lot of computing power to produce a number that almost no one understands to begin with, just to get a better reflection of obscurity.
