I've just discovered this group and have gotten some good recommendations from reading the older posts. Here's what's by my nightstand:
Unconditional by Brian Zahnd--This is very good and should be read by everyone.
Orthodoxy by Chesterton
Treasure in Clay Jars by Lois Y. Barrett--a little dry but supposed to be reading it for church
The Inner Voice of Love Henri Nouwen
A Second Touch by Keith Miller

and I've just finished Somewhere More Holy by Tony Woodlief. It is tremendous. Highly, highly recommended, and Bonhoeffer by Eric Metaxas. I was fascinated by this and learned so much.
I'm a librarian at a Christian school and also for my Presbyterian church, so I love good recommendations...
