Anyone reading anything other than Stephen's books and are you enjoying it?

Reading Robert Goddard. Not horror but holding my interest so far. Need a break from Stephen now and again, although there is another King book waiting on my table to be read. Watched Primeval on TV last night and now have an idea for a horror short story. Must get off LT and write!

Been Reading Jonathan Mayberry and his Pine Deep Trilogy. Ghost Road Blues is a pretty good little yarn.

Recently started Christopher Paolini's Eragon series, just finished the first book and started the second. Very good especially considering he was only 16 when he wrote the first one.

I just finished Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. It's the best book I've read so far this year.

ooooh Robert Goddard writes terrific books.

I read a lot more non-SK than SK. Just yesterday cracked a new-ish Brett Battles.

I've never enjoyed Koontz as much as King, but he's written some good stuff. The Odd Thomas series is some of his best.

I like reading Dean Koontz too. A few of his books have been clunkers for me, but most of them I really enjoy.

If King is Sam Adams, Koontz is Milwaukee's Best. Just sayin :). I like some history, McCollough & Kurlansky are two I enjoy. Also Orson Scott Card, Neil Gaiman are fun.
