Hmmmm - I'd be more impressed if she actually changed the cup which the bell was under. Cats have a fairly acute sense of smell and a bit of catnip in the little bell might be all it needs.

This thread is dormant, but seemed like the best place to put this link.

This cat circus recently came to Portland, and it was even more amazing than it appears in the video. Well worth seeing, if they are in your area. They also have a website: The Amazing Acro-Cats.

Of course, being cats, they do have minds of their own. At various points in the program, the next performer might decide to run laps backstage, wander into the audience, or just refuse to come out of her carrier. The ringmaster just carries on with the next event.
