This thread is only for those participants that have a personal ticker for the challenge.
Please insert your ticker only once, no Explanation needed. When you update the ticker in your own thread it will automatically update here (provided you copy the html from your personal thread. Any questions, please ask in the monthly thread or PM me so that this thread remains perfectly pristine with only tickers showing.

edited to remove ticker -- I'm reclaiming/renaming it for 2014!
.
But in the meantime I'll keep updating my 2013 ROOTs progress here, currently: 28 read / 30 goal.

>88 HRHTish: Normally cyderry prefers no discussion on this thread, but I'm sure she'll make an exception for an explanation.
To make your own ticker, click on any ticker in this thread. It will take you to the "Ticker Factory" and you'll see the option "Create Your Own Ticker" at the bottom. Click on that.
You'll be given a lot of options of types of tickers--either the "Objects/Actions" ticker or the "Savings" ticker will work fine. Follow the instructions (you choose a name, password, background & ticker).
At the end, it will convert the ticker to HTML; copy the HTML (maybe to a word document to keep). Then paste the HTML in a message here.
Then any time you want to update it, you click on it & enter your password & update your books read. You can paste the same HTML to multiple places (this thread, your own thread). But you only need to update your "stats" to one of your tickers and all the copies of it will automatically update.
Hopefully if I've missed anything critical, someone will chime in. If you have additional questions or discussion, best to post it on the current July thread: http://www.librarything.com/topic/155927 You should also add your goal of books to read in 2013 to the "group goal" in the main ticker on that thread.
Hope this helps.
