I've just finished reading 'The Rebel's Promise' by a new author called Jane Godman. I'm a huge Georgette Heyer fan and this book was the closest I've come to one of her novels.

Claire Darcy is the best Regency author I've found after Heyer, and Austen of course. I've only read Lady Pamela and Regina so far, but they were both sparkling with wit, and filled with madcap adventures, and delicious characters. I can't believe she isn't better known!

I agree, Claire Darcy is great.

I am looking for readers who are willing to review my new Regency romance, 'Two in the Bush,' which is in the style of Georgette Heyer, and published by Evershire Publishing.

'She thought he was the perfect man for her daughter--until she fell in love with him herself..."

'Two in the Bush' has so far received 4 and 5 star reviews.
