What are your views on A Natural History of Dragons by Marie Brennan? Planning your first dragon-studying expedition? Or is it not your cup of tea?

I loved this, but then a book featuring (i) a Victorian-esque society (ii) historical science and (iii) dragons is basically catnip for me. The only thing that would have made it even more of a book specially written for me would have been a (plausible) magical talking intelligent cat...

I was pretty pleased to realise part of the way through, that there was no way we were going to get Lady Isabella's whole life in one volume, meaning I have more to look forward to!
