How did you find Sleeping Beauty? Did you come across any strange annotations on the Sur la Lune site that you feel you must share? Any different versions that you are aware of?

I just read the version of the story on the Sur La Lune site, and am a bit startled, as any version I knew stopped about halfway through, before it made a sudden turn to the macabre...

Heh, yes the random ogre baby-eating mother-in-law was a surprise for everyone at the Chat too! We also wondered at the servants' lack of foresight - what exactly was their plan for when the prince came home and discovered they had cooked his family for his mum?

I do love these old stories that "everybody knows". We actually don't "know" them at all!
