My Fair Concubine by Jeannie Lin
A Night of Cake and Puppets by Laini Taylor
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
The Transfer: A Divergent Story by Veronica Roth
Jane Eyre by Emily Brontë
Pieces of Paper: A Short Story by Jeannie Lin
Copper Girl by Jennifer Allis Provost
In the midst of Allegiant & Emma. I loved Jane Eyre, I think it was the slow beginning that put me off at first, though the same thing put me off Emma, as well.
Also would be happy to be off bed rest and doing something other than reading all day.
Had some more bedrest, and did a ton more reading!
8. Feral Sins by Suzanne Wright
9. Blind Allegiance by Violetta Rand
10. Silver Wolf by Alice Borchardt
11. Kitty and the Midnight Hour by Carrie Vaughn
12. The Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino
Out of the list, Devotion of Suspect X was my favorite, and Feral Sins the biggest letdown. Devotion of Suspect X built up page by page through the entire read, and Feral Sins was just a contradiction the entire way through. A strong character who won't submit to anyone! ....who submits over and over and over again. Kitty was a stronger character in that she was aware of her submissive nature and fought to overcome it, but it wasn't an instantaneous process. Silver Wolf was...interesting. A unique take on werewolves, setting it in Rome.
I would have finished a couple more Pendergast books, but my kindle wouldn't let me download anything longer than samples. I'll have to try that again later.
