Cuecat not working

I just received my CueCat. I plugged it into a usb port. No night on the nose. What next?

I'm more familiar with the old style CueCats, but I suspect the USB ones need a bit of power to work. Try plugging it into different USB ports to see if that makes a difference. Some ports have power, some don't. If none of your ports can make the 'Cat work, you might possibly have a defective one.

Have you tried legal's suggestions? If you can't get it to work on any of your USB ports--even on a different computer, if you have one available, then you likely do have a defective CueCat.
