June's book is Little Brother by Cory Doctorow. I know nothing about the book or author, so I'm going in totally blind! I'm off to reserve it at the library.

For those who'd like a copy to read on their e-reader / tablet / phone / pretty much any device under the sun, the author has the habit of making his books available free under a Creative Commons license :

I'll be reading this, also have a hard copy of For the win waiting on TBR Mount.

I've enjoyed Little Brother, Pirate Cinema, and I'm in the middle of For the Win now. He always has an agenda but has quality teaching going on in his books. He gives the reader a quick lesson in economics in FTW. I had just finished a course in network security when I read LB and was impressed with the accuracy.

Is For the Win the third of his young people's politics books?

I have a copy of little brother and will be reading it. I enjoyed it at the time, but it does have the potential to spark off some political discussion!

I'm looking forward to this one; bought it ages ago and have been saving it to read now! The only other book of Doctorow's that I've read is Someone comes to town, someone leaves town which I thought was pretty good.
