I've just posted a bunch of inventory on BM again after a 2 year hiatus... I still think I've built up a crazy number of points that I'm never going to use, but I'd rather than my books were going to people who wanted them.
So... re-joining this group too!
(and a little plug for my inventory at http://bookmooch.com/m/inventory/cricketgirl and my blog at http://www.readingwithtea.com)

>1 readingwithtea:: That's why I'm at BM too. I've been here for a couple of months and find that I am much more likely to use my points on PBS (no hits to my wishlist on BM so far), but the books in my inventory are much more likely to be requested on BM, and since I need to get rid of books and prefer to have them go to people who want them rather than taking them to Half Price Books to be "recycled", I've decided to eat the shipping costs until they really get to be a problem.

>1 readingwithtea:: I should have added that because of the points imbalance, when I have a book that LT tells me is "wanted" on both PBS and BM, I post it on PBS first because if it's requested there, I'm more likely to be able to use the point that I get for it. (If you look at the LT "swaps" statistic, you'll see that frequently a book will be "available" on PBS and "wanted" on LT.) So I'm contributing to the problem that I complain about (not enough books on BM that interest me), because I'm posting my "best" (most wanted) books on PBS, but that seems to be the practical solution. I wish it weren't, because it's been very satisfying to send out books mooched from me (and to get those +1's back), although since I haven't mooched anything yet I don't know how happy I'll be in that direction.
