Holy cow Batman, not Bat Girl! Former dancer, religious author and actress best known for her role in the '60s television series Batman, Yvonne Craig died August 17 at the age of 78. Her memoir was called From Ballet to the Batcave and Beyond. :'(

The physics professor who loved tennis, Howard Brody died August 11 at the age of 83. He wrote The Physics and Technology of Tennis and Tennis Science for Tennis Players.
