Broadcaster Gordon Honeycombe died October 9 at the age of 79. His books include Dragon under the Hill, The Murders of the Black Museum and Year of the Princess.

Presenter for the BBC version of Antiques Roadshow, Hugh Scully died October 8 at the age of 72. He wrote Antiques Roadshow- A-Z of Antiques Hunting.

British politician Lord Howe of Aberavon Geoffrey Howe died October 9 at the age of 88. His memoir was called Conflict of Loyalty.

Journalist W. R. Mitchell died October 7 at the age of 87. His books include Haworth and the Brontes and It's a Long Way to Muckle Flugga.

Chef Anna Pump died October 5 at the age of 81. Her books include The Loaves and Fishes Cookbook and Summer on a Plate.

Jerry Parr, the Secret Service agent who helped save President Reagan when he was shot, has died on October 9 at the age of 85. His memoir was called In the Secret Service.

Former NYPD detective Robert Leuci died October 12 at the age of 75. He wrote All the Centurions.

Novelist Pauline Neville died October 3 at the age of 91. She wrote Peggy , The Cousins and a memoir In My Father's House. The right Touchstones not available for any of these.

Pioneer of underwater photography Bruce Mozert died October 14 at the age of 98. His book was called Silver Springs: The Underwater Photography of Bruce Mozert.

Feminist historian Rosalyn Fraad Baxandall died October 13 at the age of 76. Her books include America's Working Women, Dear Sisters and Picture Windows.

Trauma expert Henry Krystal died October 9 at the age of 90. His books include Massive Psychic Trauma and Integration and Self-Healing.

Industrial photographer Hilla Becher died October 10 at the age of 81. Her books include Typologies of Industrial Buildings and Basic Forms of industrial Buildings.

POW advocate Sybil Stockdale co-authored with her husband Vice-Admiral James Stockdale, In Love and War. She died october 10 at the age of 90.

Solla Carrock, LibraryThing author, died this past Thursday, October 22nd at the age of 63. She'd been an active member of the LibraryThing community since joining in 2009. In 2012, she founded Running Girl Press, through which she published her first novel in 2013 The Things That Always Were and, later that year, a fantasy novella Eggtooth. Her poetry and short stories appeared in numerous publications over the years, including Naming : Poems by 8 Women and Mothers and Fathers: Being Parents, Remembering Parents. A month before her passing, she published her final work A Fabulous Opera, an anthology of book reviews by LibraryThing members that she co-edited and illustrated. Solla Carrock was a fabulous friend to many here on LibraryThing. She will be sorely missed.
