Fiction, Magic -please help

Okay so,
This series starts out with a girl around the age of 16.
Her mother had died when she was younger and had left her with (if I remember correctly) a harp (I know it was a musical instrument). She's stuck working as basically a slave in a small corrupted town, but most people don't bother her due to the rumor that she is a witch.
One morning after milking a cow she spots a man in the corner. He seems startled she was looking at him, and asks for some of the milk, she nearly refuses because she would get a beating for it, but ends up giving him some anyway. Their convo ends abruptly dude to a boss coming to speak with her.
This is when she notices he cannot see the man she was just talking to.

Later the mistery dude asks if she would like to leave with him after he had watched the way the people of the small town had treated her.
They leave, her taking her instrument, but the boss sees she's gone and sends the hunting dogs after her.

This sounds very much like the start to Alison Croggon's The Gift also released as The Naming depending where you are based. It's the first part of her Pellinor series. The sequels being The Riddle, The Crow and The Singing. There's also a short prequel called The Friendship

Hi... I am new to this. I have been going nuts trying to remember the name of a trilogy I read about 20 years ago. Every few months it pops in my head and I go on a search.... I do not know the titles or the author. I remember bits and pieces of the plots and I will do my best to describe. I know it was about three sisters who live with their mother and I think grandmother in a magical realm. Each sister has a different gift and different color hair. I think they live by a mystical lake guarded by a dragon or monster. The first book centers around the oldest (I think) who seems to fall into the middle of a (highland) war. She ends up falling in love with the hero. I do not remember much about book 2. Book three is about the youngest (I think) who meets a knight or a prince that kills the lake monster because he is looking for magic. She ends up going with him to his castle so she can help heal either the king or a prince or princess. I also remember something about a library. Each of the sisters finds true love and I think they all end up living in the magical realm together..... Any help on this would be greatly appreciated
