I just can't stop adding books and the holidays didn't help

I made a resolution to read at least one book that came into the pile in 2007 or earlier for every book I read that was obtained in 2008. Nevertheless, I have added 15 books to my TBR pile (these are actual books in my house not virtual books I've added to my wishlist) since Christmas Eve. No matter my intentions, my pile always goes up and never down...ugh.

I understand what you mean. At the beginning of this year I told myself "no new books" until I had my tbr pile down to a more reasonable 150. I think that resolution might have lasted until the end of January before I gave up. Too much temptation!!

If it makes you feel better, I still have books in my tbr pile I received on Christmas, 2006.
