I came across this on Gransnet site. The idea is to make a 3 word phrase, the initials of each word to be the last three letters of previous post. If you can get a theme going, all the better. eg:
Ruby's doing sandwiches
Hilda expects some.
Ordering more eclairs
I'll risk some ;)
Oh! Might explode?
Ouch! Doing exercises!

Glad you dug that out of history, ghr4 (or, like me, out of a 10-or-so-year-oldʻs memory. ʻ41 was also the year of Lefty Groveʻs 300th and last victory, and the year of Joe DiMaggioʻs 56-game hitting streak.
The Boston Red Sox roster of that year contained 5 future Hall-of Famers: Besides Ted and Lefty there was Joe Cronin (ss and mgr.), Jimmy Foxx (1b) and the late Bobby Doerr (2b).
