I am currently working as a substitute teacher full time, mainly in one building which is great. I am also taking classes for my Masters in Elementary Education. I have started buying books for my future classroom library.

My question is what Level System do you use and how would you label it on the book and where.

I have created a label with (Avery Labels) my name on it to put into each of my books so they hopefully would get returned to me if they go missing.

Just thinking that you might want to wait to see what the district that hires you uses.

Also, you might want to think about not leveling your books. Leveling can really limit what kids read.

That is what I decided to do. I am recording in some of the optional fields here in LT, what the levels are for each book of the 4 most common leveling systems used. That way I have the information looked up and then I can go back and add the level labeling once I have my job.

As I catalog all of my books I am adding the label with my name on it. My label simply has
