Looking for reference guide

Hello, thank you for having me. Are there any reference guides for sewing, crochet, knitting, or even woodworking that lists recommended books, resources, and periodicals?

For some of those subjects, you might want to ask in such groups as Needlearts or Knitters, Inc. Though it might be worth thinking about just what you're looking for in a reference guide -- a how-to instructional is not a dictionary of stitch patterns, for example.
