I've was in Maine in a house that was haunted by something that it was best not known. The Shape of Night/ Tess Gerritsen. Moved on to Minnesota where I watched Virgil Flowers solve the murder of a college professor Bloody Genius/John Sandford. Currently I'm in New York in a neighborhood that has already had a murder and a 15 year old boy that is in a lot of trouble since he entered people's homes and hack their computers because he thought it was a fun thing to do. Someone We Know/Shari Lapena

I am happy to be back from Pennsylvania where I have been watching a 7 year old boy play host to a voice that is in his head instructing him to carry out tasks for it. Didn't want to get too close or stay there any longer than necessary. Imaginary Friend/Stephen Chbosky

I'm in a northern California town that is haunted by a woman murdered over 100 years ago. She's fighting to hold her right to haunt the town. The Last To See Me/M. Dressler

I'm in Ohio with Sheriff Burkholder who's investigating a hit and run accident that killed an Amish father and his 2 children in their buggy. It's Her Last Breath by Linda Castillo.

I'm in England...again...and oddly in Suffolk, the same place as the book above took place. The Secret of Cold Hill/Peter James. Must be the most haunted place in the entire country:) I'm visiting a cottage that a stranger stopped in and has never left and he's overstayed his welcome...by 150 years. The Stopped Heart/Julie Myerson

I've been on a picnic with a group of young ladies from a girl's school. The only problem is that we can't find 3 of them. They climbed Hanging Rock and never came back. I don't think it would take them 119 years to make it home. Somethings very wrong here. Picnic At Hanging Rock Joan Lindsey

I've been in Seattle, Washington with an old friend...J.P. Beaumont. He's looking for the mother of a baby that gave birth and left her at the hospital. The mother's step father is taking care of the little girl and trying to become her legal guardian. Beaumont will search for the mother never anticipating the surprise he is going to get. Sins of The Fathers/J.A. Jance

I'm in Colorado with a woman on her way to Utah but finds that she is stopped by a snow storm. She makes a horrible discovery at a rest area. Someone has locked a young child locked in an animal crate. Of course there are no other cars around and no cell signal to call for help. She and the child are going no where and she believes whoever left the child in the crate will be coming back. No Exit/Taylor Adams

I've been in Hungary, Wales and England with a gypsy woman who has had many ups and downs. It's Riding the Waves of Life with Lavinia by Jill Darnell.

Now, I'm in Pennsylvania with a single mother who is starting to suspect that her adopted 3 year old son was actually stolen by the "birth mother" who signed the adoption papers. It's Look Again by Lisa Scottoline.

I’m on a small cruise ship on the North Sea. Sounds lovely except the woman in cabin 10 has been thrown overboard, or has she?
