This year, I'm hoping to read at least 50 of my ROOTs (books I've had sitting unread on my shelves for a year or more). I haven't done too well, so far, but I have a ton of manga to read, so I'm hoping to at least read a bunch of those.
1. Fireflood and Other Stories- Vonda McIntyre
2. The Rogue and the Runaway- Mary Jo Putney
3. Deservedly Dead- B. J. Oliphant
4. Catseye- Andre Norton
5. The Controversial Countess- Mary Jo Putney
6. Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Vol. 1- Naoko Takeuchi
7. The Rake and the Reformer- Mary Jo Putney
8. Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Vol. 2- Naoko Takeuchi
9. The Sims 2 Apartment Life- Greg Kramer
10. Ancillary Mercy- Ann Leckie
11. Fortune's Pawn- Rachel Bach
12. The Diabolical Baron- Mary Jo Putney
13. Women of Wonder- Pamela Sargent, ed.
14. The Sims Prima Official Strategy Guide- Mark Cohen
15. The Sims House Party Official Strategy Guide- Mark Cohen
16. Honor's Knight- Rachel Bach
17. Lady of Fortune- Mary Jo Putney
18. Heaven's Queen- Rachel Bach
19. The China Bride- Mary Jo Putney
20. Incident on a Small Colony- Kristine Smith
21. Sailor Moon, Vol. 5- Naoko Takeuchi
22. The Vorkosigan Companion- Lois McMaster Bujold & Lillian Stewart Carl
23. The Eyes of Amber and Other Stories- Joan D. Vinge
I've also DNFed 66 books and got rid of 114 books. I brought a lot less books into the house because there weren't many library book sales, flea markets, or garage sales. I got a ton of free ebooks though. ;-)

Welcome back and good luck with your goal! Also good job on the DNFing -- that's sometimes the hardest part!

Welcome back! I can't believe your daughter is starting school this year, it feels like 5 minutes ago she was born!

Thank you everyone.
Well, it does not look good for my daughter starting school in September due to the coronavirus. I have an autoimmune disease and I'm currently on two different immunosuppressants. I've been having a fluctuating Crohn's flare for a few years now and my old medication just couldn't seem to get me back into remission, so I'm trying a biologic now. Once the biologic is at the proper level in my body, I can go off the old medication, but I can't have a blood test until Covid-19 isn't such a threat. I live in Upstate NY, so things aren't as bad where I am as they are in NY City and its neighboring counties, but there are still new cases being diagnosed every day. Albany County, which I can see from where I'm sitting right now, has almost 1,300 cases. My county has 350 confirmed cases, but we have 194 recoveries. Also, we are finally getting testing sites in my county this week.
I've been busy making masks, taking care of my daughter, trying to homeschool her a bit, going for walks, and keeping my cats happy. I'm still reading at a slower pace than I would like, but I read every day, which is the important part. My husband and I are doing a lot of yard work this spring. We are putting up a fence, so our neighbors don't trespass anymore. 8-O I'll be planting a flower garden today, after clearing the flower bed of weeds and ivy yesterday. And I will get my vegetable garden cleared out and planted soon. I haven't had a garden since before my daughter was born.

Glad to hear you are keeping yourself occupied regardless of your disease, Q. Homeschooling is a job on its own. We are doing some gardening too. At least I am trying to do a small area every day. And read of course.
It's strange to see what we are picking up again now we spend so much time at home. I'm glad I have a garden to sit in and we had a nice summer-like week with lots of sun.
