Here's an excerpt from a WashPost book column...
==============================

Speaking of pesky apostrophes and missing hyphens, there's a clever new card game called “Stet!” It’s based on “Dreyer's English: An Utterly Correct Guide to Clarity and Style,” which soared up the bestseller list last year like a flare on a foggy night. The reference guide, by Random House copy chief Benjamin Dreyer, offers clear and witty advice to anyone who cares about language (op-ed). His new game version brings all that excitement to the parlor. The box includes 50 Grammar cards and 50 Style cards with sample sentences that will test even the sharpest red pencil, e.g. “Clarissa’s neighbors were outraged when she flaunted the subdivision rules by hanging laundry in her front yard.” If the sentence is correct, stet! Otherwise, grammatical corrections and stylistic improvements are helpfully explained on the back of each card. Some are obvious, some are obscure, and some are debatable, which is when the real fun begins. “Any number of people have told me that they intend to use the game to humiliate the people they’re locked up with,” Dreyer says. “With a little ingenuity, I’ll bet you can use it to humiliate people via Zoom as well, so think big.”

Oooh, want!

I wish the New York Times' "Copy Edit This!" feature hadn't disappeared. I miss it.
