It was my hope that some here might know of some Dylan Thomas fine press printings. I'm not aware of any excepting the not quite fine press FS editions. Is there anything out there?

In 1978 or so, the calligrapher Sheila Waters created a modern illuminated manuscript of Under Milkwood which was bound by her husband Peter. This was featured in Vol. 5, No. 2 (April 1979) of Fine Print. In 1989, a full-color reproduction of this MS was published by the International Letter Arts Network of Santa Ana, CA. The binding replicated the design of Peter Waters' original binding. Look here.

In 1969, New Directions published a limited edition of A Child's Christmas in Wales illustrated and signed by Fritz Eichenberg. The 100 copies of this edition were printed at the Thistle Press. The book was accompanied by a portfolio of a separate suite of the 5 plates in the book in a larger size each of which is also signed by Eichenberg. The Thistle Press was the printer for the LEC Romance of Tristan & Iseult

Deaths and Entrances. Gwasg Gregynog, 1984. 268 copies.

Holiday Memory. 1979. Lime Rock Press. A miniature book. 25 copies.

Laugharne Poems, 2003. Old Stile Press. Wood engravings by John Petts, 250 copies. see Oak Knoll Books. Also from the publisher, Old Stile Press.

There are likely a few others out there.
