We lost our long time group, History Fans, about a month ago. It was deleted or stolen or perhaps just decided to go to New Zealand to sit out this whole Covid thing. Anyway, I've created a new History Fans group for folks to come and talk about their own current readings in history or ask question or just talk. As we say in the description, "This is a group to discuss non-fiction books relating to history. No specific era, timeframe or location is specified because those groups tend to be small and fragmented. Even if you post to one of those more specific groups we'd like folks to post here as well".

So say you and a couple of others are deeply into Albanian historical events of the 13th Century and even have a group for it. We'd love it if you would come to our History Fans group and post about it as well. We have a monthly topic called "Current Reading" where we surprisingly enough talk about what we are currently reading(!) and it would be great for you to come post about, say, a book you are reading concerning how the forces of the Angevin Charles I of Naples occupied Dyrrhachium (Durrës) and established the Kingdom of Albania. You may find others who are interested as well!
