COMBING a work that won't combine

Editado: Out 1, 6:31 pm

this is the same work. it won a caldecott - I've tried b4 to combine; meanwhile- now both are listed in the caldecott list- but they are a single book

Check the links you posted. It's the same link, to the same book. And I looked for another book entitled All Around the Town by Phyllis McGinley; that appears to be the only one.

Is it possible that your other book is the book of the same title by Mary Higgins Clark?

OK, I agree, that's separate. But it's also a zero-copy work.

both are listed under the caldecott award? should i just remove the caldecott award from its data? and then only one will show up?

Is that how you found the duplicate, by looking at Caldecott award winners? Because it shouldn't show up in most other places. I do see the duplicate on the Caldecott page, now that you mention it.... I am hoping someone else will speak up here, because my knowledge of Awards is effectively nil -- the largest part of my library is too old and obscure to have won many awards.

>5 EGBERTINA: I've combined them. The second was a "zero-edition" work, and these cannot be combined in the normal way. See for background.

>6 waltzmn: yes and no. i found it earlier this year when i was reading the caldecotts. i tend to combine as i go. i'm doing a final sweep through them - combining and other personal checks. that is when i saw it again.
